• Inspired by the old VHS and the future already passed, QUINT builds hypnotic visuals, between organic and digital, making you go from an evening to a real experience! Inspired by industrial techno, a kind of living theater mixing digital arts and circus arts, pushing the immersive side of vjing to its limits. Give her a scene and a projector and let yourself go.

  • Having studied digital music at the Université de Montréal, RØRØ quickly became interested in visual arts mixed with music. His first exposure to this world came about when he was making motion design to illustrate electroacoustic works.

Being an audiovisual technician, specializing in video and LED and technical director of OCTOV for 4 years, he was able to use his knowledge to develop his artistic talent as a VJ in electronic music events. His influences go far and wide, ranging from experimental cinema, Japanese animation classics such as Akira or Ghost in the Shell, video games and computing - and everything in between.

His appreciation for media dates back to his young age, when he made video montages on VHS with advertisements and anime that were airing on his TV. Today, he likes to play with support as much as content to complete a thorough and dynamic scenography experience for the audience. By using mapping on different structures, LED screens or CRTs but also by controlling LED structures, it truly is a wedding between visuals and digital art.

One can consider his work being a combination of VJing and scenography.
