RESIDENT vjS
quint
Inspired by old VHS and a future already gone QUINT builds hypnotic visuals, between organic and digital, transforming what could have been an usual night to a real sensory experience.
With a playground of hundreds of clips to pick from, QUINT is looking for the perfect shot, whether it will be from a long forgotten movie or an old school ad for mascara.
Heavily influenced by the imagery of the techno scene, she believes that empathy is key, and is willing to channel a visceral reaction from the public so stories can be created on the dancefloor.
rørø
RØRØ, a University of Montreal digital music graduate, delved into visual arts alongside music, initially exploring motion design to complement electroacoustic compositions.
His inspirations span cyberpunk, neo-romanticism, video games, Asian culture, and architecture, blending contrasting visual elements with glitch effects. He merges pop culture with classical art and animation with film.
Today, RØRØ fuses mediums and content in scenography, utilizing mapping, LED/CRT screens, and LED structures to craft immersive visual experiences, blurring the lines between VJing and scenography.
